Candidate Videos

(alphabetical order by party; black & white photo indicates candidates who are no longer running or who no longer meet our criteria)

Many 2008 Presidential candidates have appeared in hundreds and sometimes thousands of hours of video clips. Listed below are links to videos that have met three specific criteria for inclusion:

  1. Show each candidate's presidential campaign announcement video
  2. Show videos in which the candidate made a statement that was used on the 2008 Election ProCon.org website
  3. Show videos in which the candidate made a clear and direct statement addressing any of the ProCon sites' core questions.

These criteria resulted in an unequal number of video links for each candidate. If a candidate made a brief statement that addressed a ProCon.org question in the context of a much longer speech or televised appearance, we included the entire speech; in those cases, we have indicated the minute mark where the relevant statement appears.
